CLASS 4 AND 7 MOT TESTING IN THE LEEDS/GARFORTH AREA

Dreading your upcoming MOT test? We know the feeling! But whether we like it or not, MOTs are a legal requirement. The main concern is that your car be roadworthy and not pose a safety concern to you and to other motorists.

At S.A.C we provide class 4 and class 7 MOT tests. The former covers cars, small vans and motorhomes that carry up to eight passengers. The latter covers commercial goods vehicles that carry between 3000kg and 3500kg in weight.

We'll be inspecting everything from the brakes and fuel system to the lights, exhaust, seatbelts, windscreen wipers, horn, steering and suspension, mirrors, doors, bodywork, wheels and tyres.

Whilst the test could flag up serious issues that could require expensive remedial work, many cars actually fail for very minor issues that are easily preventable. A good way to ensure your car passes its MOT is to have it serviced regularly. A service will pick up those minor issues before they develop into more problematic ones, and will decrease the likelihood of any unpleasant surprises when the test results come in.
